BLOCKING FINDING / DATA INTEGRITY

Reviews shown for the wrong product.

A page with zero visible reviews displayed eight reviews from another item. The report traced the source and recorded how to reproduce the mismatch.

01 / THE AUDIT

The last mile deserves its own pass.

Your team knows how the app is meant to work. An independent pass follows the user journey, changes roles and state, and records where the product does something else.

01

Define the journey

We agree on one core path, the user roles, test accounts, and what a successful release must allow users to do.

02

Test the edges

Check wrong-role access, missing or misleading data, empty and failed states, repeated actions, responsive behavior, and relevant console or network errors.

03

Deliver the verdict

Receive a prioritized issue log with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, evidence, and a go/no-go recommendation.

02 / SAMPLE WORK

The right finding can change a launch decision.

In an internal, unpaid audit of a browser extension, a product page with no visible reviews showed reviews from another product. The evidence linked source data, parsing and the displayed result. A targeted repair corrected that issue, while other misleading data and purchase failures kept the product off sale.

The sample shows how findings are documented. It is not a client testimonial or a claim of a successful launch.

03 / ENGAGEMENT

Start narrow. Fix what matters.

A first engagement is deliberately bounded so you can judge the quality of the findings before choosing any repair work.

AFTER TRIAGE

Repair & retest

Scope and price agreed after the audit.

Choose a bounded set of launch-blocking issues. I fix them in your repository or staging environment, then retest the changed flow and nearby behavior.

Initial repair engagements target around $950; the actual quote depends on the defects and access available.

Discuss a repair scope

The pilot is functional QA, not a formal security, legal or compliance audit. No live payment test, destructive action or production release without your written approval. No promise of zero defects.

NEXT STEP

What’s the one flow you cannot afford to get wrong?

Send the app URL, planned launch timing and that critical user journey. No credentials are needed in the first email; we can agree on safe test access and scope afterward.
